diamond ring for a 2 year old:)

My two and a half year old is all girly...she loves dressing up..necklaces...and RINGS.She allways asks for mine and the one for kids ...they never fit her tinny fingers so I made this fun rings that she would think one is big enough for her...she wears three !!!:))
So here is how you can make your very own!

Group three pipe cleaners in your favorite colors with even ends and twist in the middle about 4-5 times to create something like a cat whiskers:)

Put the twist under one finger and cross the "whiskers" over the top of the finger to measure the ring size. Remove pipe cleaners from finger and twist to size.
Open and spread out the "legs."

Make a very tiny bend on the end of each leg, pressing back onto itself.

Start rolling each leg from the bend into the center, pulling back as you roll to make the roll  tight.

Arrange each rolled "petal" of the flower.

Now that's cute enough but you know every girl needs her diamond !!!:)

To put the "diamond" in the middle of the flower twist one end of the sparkly pipe cleaner  on the top of the ring, where it meets the flower and pull the other end trghou the middle of the flower.

Start rolling it back as you did with the petals  but this time as you finish rolling pull the end in a beehive form(like a diamond)...

I hope I was clear enough :)..o boy...have fun...we love them...especially  the sparkly one!!!

Happy ring making!:)

stand up

A friend of mine shared this on her facebook page and I thought I should share it with you guys as well.
A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said: 'Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 year old and I'm pregnant again. I don't want kids so close together. So the doctor said: 'OK and what do you want me to do?' She said: 'I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm counting on your help with this.' The doctor thought for a little bit, and after some silence he said to the lady: 'I think I have a better solution for your problem. It's less dangerous for you too.' She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request. Then he continued: 'You see, in order for you not to have to take care of 2 babies at the same time, let's kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we're going to kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms. The lady was horrified and said: 'No doctor! How terrible! It's a crime to kill a child! 'I agree', the doctor replied. 'But you seemed to be OK with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution.' The doctor smiled, realizing that he had made his point. He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that's already been born and one that's still in the womb. The crime is the same! If you agree, please SHARE. Together we can help save precious lives! "Love says I sacrifice myself for the good of the other person. Abortion says I sacrifice the other person for the good of myself..." Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself for the good of sinners! That's perfect love...
As I was looking for a picture for this post and tipped on Google "Abortion " I saw some terrifying images of aborted babes ...this is not RIGHT!! Every women ho thinks that abortion is a solution should see those images!!There is never a good enough reason for abortion! As a women,a mother and child of God I stand against it! Pregnant women need support will scar them for life.
Stand up against it!

felt flower tutorial

This is a step by step tutorial on how to make your very own headband, for you or for your little ones!:)
This is what you will need:
-glue(or a hot glue gun)I used natural glue for felt, nontoxic.
-needle and thread
-elastic headband

How to:

Cut out 7 circles for your flower + one to use to fix your flower to the headband (for the size I just used the bottom of a glass)they don't have to be perfect.

Use one circle as your base.Start your flower by folding one circle in half ......

...........and then again fold in half

And sow it to your base like this.

Do the same with the other 3 circles, and they should look like this.

With the other 2 circles put them on top of the rest, sowing them to the base.

                                                      Cut another circle.....

.......... and put glue on it and on your elastic headband and press the back of the flower to the last circle with the headband between.

Live it for a few minutes then make some small stitches to fix it even more.

You can live it like this.....

or make another one and put it next to it.

You can make them different sizes  or as many as you wish!
I hope I was clear enough:)So that's it, you are done!!Enjoy your headband!

Cake in a cup

You might not want to serve it at a dinner party, but sitting all by your lone self, it's delicious and really fun for the kids too! It's fast(only 3 min in the microwave )and I'm talking about what to make if you have a chocolate craving emergency!

Cake in a cup!

You will need:

4 table spoon of self raising flour.

3 table spoons of milk and one egg.

                            3 table spoon of oil.

3 table spoons of can yous simple sugar or Muscovado(unrefined sugar).I went with Muscovado.

2 table spoons on nescquik it gives a more chocolatedy taste to it than simple cocoa powder.

2 table spoons of chocolate chips..
One cup(mug) make sure it's bigger then mine(the bigger the better)my cake spill over the cup.

Mix all the dry ingredients in the cup.

Mix in the milk, oil and egg and give it a good stir!

Add the chocolate chips on top and put it in the microwave for 3 min on full power.

because my cup was not so big it spilled over..but I just push it back in:))

fall is here take 2 :)

As I promised here is how I decorated   my home for fall.I don't have a garden so the decor is mainly in my living room and hall way.I think that the colors  of fall go well with the colors of my home, they are all neutral...browns,ivory and color here and there,I'm not a big fan of bold color (when it comes to interior design)  as you may have noticed:)
I had fun piking up leafs and pine cones with my daughter for this!Hannah was nice and warm in her pushchair ,it was a cold day with a little bit of rain too,it would not have been England without it!:) So here are the pic, enjoy!:)

my hubby gave me the flowers a few days back,i have just added the leafs and little pumpkins!:)
this mini  memo board I bought it from a local shop that have a lot of  hand made stuff ,I just added the litlle leaf!

I forgot to buy the candles for thees garden lanterns ....:)

This is a polystyrene styrofoam wreath with mossing twine wraparound, some leafs, tow beads from an old bracelet and a little fake pumpkin.

thank you for stopping by!
