embrace the camera: 7/19/12

The lovely Emily over at The Anderson Crew had this great idea of turning the camera around on you(me).I started this blog to record in some way our life,my girls life so that they will know how much they were/are loved and how big of a blessing they are to us,they make us complete...
and usually I am the one behind the camera taken the pictures...but I'm not in them that much...
and as sad as it may be ,
one day, we won't be around...
do we really just want to be a distant memory?
Pictures are a way to remind our loved ones of what we once were regardless of how we look ,
they will treasure those photos one day! It doesn't need to be with a good camera. It just needs to be you, with your kids,  husband, or someone else who may be near and dear to your heart.

So Emily is hosting Embrace the camera every Thursday were you can link up !

Join me there,will you?

By the way you too will fall in love with her blog!:)

me and my hubby!:)

  4. Oh, talking about husbands in pictures??? That's a dream come true! Besides the fact that he's a guy, he's also a photographer and one thing I've learnt about photographers is that they don't like being anywhere else but behind the camera, not in front of it. :) Imagine how the wedding session was. So yeah, I understand you ladies so well... :)

Erika, you have such a lovely family!!! :) And your style is AMAZING!!!

  5. Adorable pics! I just can't seem to figure out how to get in my pics since I'm the crazy picture taking lady of my house. Yes, I could set up the tripod and use the remote, but then it stops seeming natural and a lot of work for a few photos. :)

    1. Ask one of your kids,or do it yourself..in the first pic I was holding the camera:))...it dose not have to be a perfect pic!Give it a go!:)I would love to see your pic...since I am kind of obsessed with your blog:)))

    2. You are sweet. I do have a pic that my oldest took of my and my younger son, Micah when he was cuddling me....not sure if I ever shared that one or not...probably. My pics on my main page of my blog are so old. I've tried taking a cool photo of myself to update my about me page, but I never can stand them. ;) I'm much better behind the camera.
