I would like to share with you one of my favourite dish to have on a Sunday. It is easy and fast to get every thing ready.
The oven dose the work for you ,really!
......and it's just delicious!
You can make many variations of this dish..you can have pork,turkey,sausages...bacon etc
.I personally like this one the best.
What you will need:
6 Chicken Pieces( not chicken breast)
6 Garlic Cloves, unpeeled
3 Large Potatoes, cut into thick wedges
3 Sprigs of Fresh Rosemary and Oregano
4 Sprigs of Fresh Thyme
3 Tbsp of Olive Oil
6 Garlic Cloves, unpeeled
3 Large Potatoes, cut into thick wedges
3 Sprigs of Fresh Rosemary and Oregano
4 Sprigs of Fresh Thyme
3 Tbsp of Olive Oil
Salt and pepper
Get to it!
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C.
In a large baking dish add the cut potatoes, remaining rosemary and oregano, garlic cloves, and 2 tbsp of the olive oil.
Season with salt and pepper and toss the potatoes to make sure the oil is coating everything.
Arrange the chicken in the baking dish around the potatoes and unpeeled garlic(because you are cooking it at high temperature the unpeeled garlic will burn, this way it will be nice and yummy!) Bake for about 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Serve right out of the oven and enjoy!
